N.W.A. Straight Outta Compton (The Explicit ONLY LP Edit)

Shouts to my man REL of Distortion2Static for posting this. I had to share this with y’all! It’s an edited version of N.W.A.’s classic debut album Straight Outta Compton, edited down to JUST the curse words.

Had they actually pressed this version on it’s original formats at that time, I think it might have out-sold the original album. Especially with the controversy that surrounded it upon it’s release, and the uproar of stickered albums at that time.

As kids from that time, we mostly got off on hearing excessive profanity on rap albums, anyway! Kudos to the person/people who took the time to do this. Can we expect explicit-only edits of N.W.A.’s even-dirtier follow-up EFIL4ZAGGIN or maybe even Too Short’s Born To Mack or Body Count’s controversial self-titled effort?
