Just When I Thought: My 2009 Music Shortlist (that’s really long).

For the first part of this year, some of the music that was slated to be released was grossly over-promised, and severely under-delivered. Maybe my expectations are a tad bit high, but the looming hype and the myriad of teasers really revved up my ever-rampaging skepticism. The albums that fell (hard, on their faces) under this particular category are as follows:

Kid Cudi- Man On The Moon: The End of Day minus the two tracks produced by my fellow Bangerz brother DJ Replay

There were other releases that really killed my boner disappointed me and a shit surplus plethora of bad tunes that really led me to believe that 2009 was going to be pure caca completely hopeless for music. Just when I thought that things were headed in that direction, a wave of good, quality music washed upon my shore, and I regained my boner rekindled my relationship with current music.
